Discussion [POLL] If a shotgun magically appeared in front of you, would you shoot yourself instantly?

Probably not this instant, though I consider myself trigger happy.
I'd fumble with it a little bit to test align the gun under by chin but my SI is too high. It's not my time to go, yet.

If it lead to guaranteed death then of course I'd free myself from this hellish and harmful existence, of course Nembutal would be my most ideal way but I cannot access that. For me I'd always see it as better that this existence disappears into nothingness no matter what, I'd be glad to finally cease existing. I'd always prefer the true peace of non-existence over suffering so unnecessarily in an existence that was always so undesirable, for me suicide is suffering prevention.

I would want to research how to do it first. Last thing I'd want, is to shoot half my face off, survive then be in an even worse place. I'm sure there is a proper way to do it, considering recoil etc. however to properly answer the OP, likely!

Depends if the gun will disappear, if it will, then yes. If not, in a week or so, I want to say goodbye and have everything setup.

Yes, but I would first double check the angles to see if it's all correct and that I'm aiming at the right place. If I can do that, I basically have my off switch button in the form of a gun

For me its easy to say yes, but if a shotgun appeared in front of me i'd probably be shaking and nervous and too scared if im being honest.

Unlikely, because I've seen far too many people on TV survive from shotguns.

No, I'm waiting for my Dad to go first and I have SN. I'd more likely take that than shoot myself but I'd love it as a back up method- just not right now.
