I didn't think it would happen to me! This IC guy is so fucked btw. To trigger a worldwide police hunt? You don't walk free from this kind of thing. All he did was give us an option. Anyway...
So the police came to see if I am okay but moreover, to collect the SN. I have to be very careful about what I say here.
- it can be at any time. Don't think it is a midnight thing!
- it is not an actual raid where they look for your SN but it is more dependent on you giving it over. Luckily, I seem to have lost mine outside my apartment - I definitely, definitely got rid of it some time ago, so there was nothing to hand over. You will be asked where you lost it cuz they want to retrieve it, but if it's gone then it's gone. They will take you to where you lost it. It is important that you have gotten rid of it cuz otherwise, they might search your house.
- for now, to be on the safe side, wherever your SN is is for only you to know (provided you didn't lose it, you know?). Don't have it in a drawer or on a desk or under the bed or anything obvious. You might have to get creative, almost architectural: think about your apartment itself rather than the furniture inside it. OK?
- Maybe you feel better now, which is why you got rid of the SN. You're not depressed anymore.
- Watch police interrogation channels on YouTube like JCS. Be aware of your body language, speak confidently (don't be like: "I guess", "maybe"), don't cave in to their pressure. Know dates, times, places. Know that shit now. Be precise.
- To be fair to them, they were nice people.
I was initially a bit shaken up. When I was being asked "Do you know why we are here?", I was wondering whether to go with the "meat-curing" idea but it would be pretty obvious that I wasn't trying to do that. I can see a lot of fragile people here being intimidated and handing it over.
I dunno about you guys but SN is just about the only method I have and if I had to hand it over, I would feel trapped. Handing it over was not an option. If you are willing to stare death in the face, then you should be willing to stare the police in the face. I can see some fragile, young people being intimidated by this. My life is too shit to hand over my SN. I mean, if I still had it, you know,
They don't go through devices or anything but maybe clean your browser history, log out of Discord, hide your suicide notes, etc.
