Poisoning yourself and then hanging?

It seems one of the big risks of hanging is the risk of being caught, I plan on doing FSH simply because it seems to have the greatest odds and I'll hang myself off of a pullup bar. Of course if I am found I could end up braindamaged and a vegetable which is... not ideal. SO I was wondering, could I simply ingest a poison of some kind? It doesn't have to be a kind poison or a peaceful poison because it'll be used on the off chance I'm brain dead. Could I just ingest 100 grams of salt or drink antifreeze or something? Can't see why this wouldn't work right?

why 100grams of salt? wouldn't the effects take at least a days if you want kidney damage/failure?

I was just throwing something out there, I know nothing about poisons it was just something that came to mind that everyone has. To me it's more like insurance, if I am caught and I'm not braindead I'll just try again but if I'm a vegetable... I mean I don't think I'll really care if it takes a few days.
