Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

what size rope, what material rope.

what knot is the best?

if you do partial, what exact position is the most effective?

is it true it's good to soap the knot/rope so it slides easier and is more likely to tighten on your neck?

should the rope be over or under your adam's apple?

please tell me about the folded socks around the neck also, or bean bags, in order to put better pressure on the carotid arteries.

please also tell me how to do the test where you locate the carotid arteries and put pressure on them with your finger to see if it will make you pass out.

tell me the details about using a door for hanging (throwing the rope over the door and closing it)

i know one trick: attach the rope to an empty plastic bottle on the other side of the door to make sure the rope doesn't slip.

and whatever else you think would be useful information.
hoping for the help of @JesiBel whom i've seen has a lot of knowledge on this

Hello!

I'll leave a short list of threads here that answer all those questions. I recommend you take the time to read everything carefully, as there's a lot of information..

πŸ“Œ Rope, size, material, ligature knot (Arbor Knot), Self-tightening knot vs Fixed knot: 1, 2, 3, 4

πŸ“Œ Partial hanging best positions: standing position, the "sitting in the air" position with the legs extended forward & the position of standing with knees barely bent and legs extended backwards, reading material with other positions

πŸ“Œ You can lubricate the rope if you wish, so that the knot of the ligature slides even more easily. If the surface of your rope is smooth (braided construction, not twisted) and the material is synthetic, it will slide easily anyway.
I'm not a fan of the sticky feeling on the skin.. You can lubricate the rope with hand cream, petroleum jelly, soap, dishwashing/laundry detergent, or some type of grease.

πŸ“Œ Ligature position: 1, 2, 3, 4

πŸ“Œ Personally, I will not use any type of padding around the neck. It's a nuisance; you're just adding another layer that the rope has to compress and penetrate. Bare neck and rope for the attempt. It's best not to complicate things.

The pressure will be created by your body weight suspended in the air and the force of gravity pulling you down. The ligature tied around your neck with a self-tightening knot will close completely, penetrating and compressing your neck and its internal structures (veins, arteries, airway).

πŸ“Œ About testing and "practice": 1, 2

πŸ“Œ Anchor point, door: there's information, photos and videos on every page of the thread, please, read it completely

I don't know much about hanging. I know if you do it correctly, it's a quick death. The neck snaps right away. If you do it incorrectly, it's a slow, agonizing one. You basically choke to death.
I have been told you have to be at least 6 ft off the ground. That's about all I know about it.

I believe you would have to fall quickly and stop abruptly in order to cause a cervical fracture. Think of a hangman's gallows and the trap door used to accelerate the victim causing a violent abrupt stop.

That's not the case; in Partial and Full Suspension, the goal is not to break your neck: read here the differences between suicide and execution Hanging

If you perform the procedure correctly, you will lose consciousness in less than 15 seconds and will no longer perceive any sensation or stimulus. Then it will only be a matter of minutes before death occurs due to the blockage of blood flow to your brain. (You need at least 30 minutes alone without any interruptions)

πŸ“Œ Summary about brain oxygen deprivation and death

πŸ“Œ Death mechanism and phases in suicidal Hanging (2 research pdfs)

πŸ“Œ Pain, unconsciousness, involuntary body movements (Phases in the hanging death mechanism: Loss of consciousness, convulsions/spasms, decerebrate rigidity, decorticate rigidity, abdominal movements, loss of muscle tone: the body becoming progressively flaccid, isolated body movements, last movement)

πŸ“Œ Additional information: Differences between Partial and Full Suspension, height of feet off the ground

Never throw/drop yourself violently in the attempt; it will be painful and the rebound effect will be unpleasant.

Pre-adjust the ligature around the neck, make the rope taut by lowering your body, and then take the "step into the void" to be suspended in the air. (Be careful that the knot of the ligature and rope are always in the correct position.)

The rest of the information is in my previous post with the suggested reading threads.
