Discussion Playing music during/before CTB?

I didnt even think about this until now but I feel like I'll probably make a playlist and put on one of my favorite songs right before I go through with PSH. Wondering if anybody else has thought about this lol. I was ready to CTB last night and didnt care at all about playing music so maybe I wont really care enough when the time comes.

But it is a really beautiful song. I think it would be nice to have that be the last thing I hear. (sorry for cringe)

That's a brilliant idea. Music is a form of meditation that can put you in an altered state of consciousness. So, it can help you feel less discomfort

I also thought about this just recently.
Because I started switching mentally from train to rope, which potentially gives me a choice of setting - calm night in the forest for example. It would be possible to make a little ceremony for myself, have some resemblance of dignity.
First thing that pops into my mind right now is dark ambient, but I'm not sure.
