  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

I don't have hyperacusis now but have experienced it for 3 weeks following one of my ear surgeries. Hyperacusis is awful, sounds were unimaginably loud, I could hear constant white noise, car engines from 3 streets away sounded like they were directly in my head, kettle boiling was unbearable, gently closing a door sounded like someone was slamming it as hard as they could, pounding in my head. People don't realise just how finely tuned the human body is until it goes wrong and then you realise how fucked up things can be.
It's hell.

What surgery caused this?
