I am in college now. I watched my years pass me so quickly over the years of using. I have this person over at my dorm, all she does is complain and keep me and my roomate up ALL FUCKING NIGHT. She makes her problems into a weird competition that doesn't even fucking matter at the end of the night because EVERYONE changes the subject. I don't usually talk to people. In all reality, college is really just a part-time thing that ill do for a couple years.. do something with my life, right? Nonetheless, I am still good at talking to people. Entertainment, at this point. But don't worry, this is relevant.

I told her about how I dont believe people are good. That death is a great thing, and if you're truly a good person you can get passed a little bump in your road (that being suicide from a loved one). That i was going to go out by it, I have absolutely no intention on letting my life end by anything I don't want to happen. Yeah, yeah, I'm depressed or whatever.. but in reality, I just want a release. Outside of an endless cycle. But she continued to complain about her life on and on and on. So I ended the conversation. People need to look deeper into their problems instead of just complaining. Complain. Complain. Whine. Whine.

Shes across from me currently and asked if I was okay, I said I am. I have no problem with being brutally honest with someone with how im feeling, just she'd make it weird instead of a productive conversation. Not that I would change in any way. Ive been like this since I was in grade school.

It's not my roomate, lol. It's someone staying with me due to being kicked out. She helped me out when I was blacking out and 20 shots deep in an hour so I dont know what I could do?

Ah, I see. Is she someone that is open to communication or is she very hard headed? Are you forced to talk to her in any situations? I know its probably extremely hard to avoid someone your living with, so you can try to limit your social interactions with this person.

Well, she doesnt live on campus. I just dont know where she'll go and I don't want to be blamed for kicking her out. But you're absolutely correct, I know how i could do that its just that she ignores it or changes ever so slightly.

How did she end up staying inside your dorm? She seems bothersome to both you and your roommate, or is she a close friend to your roommate?

At the end of the day its you and your roommates dorm. I don't think you should be held responsible for someone else's housing. I totally understand how you feel. I'm a major push-over myself, and honestly if I was in your situation I would just put up with their actions and keep it bottled inside of me LOL. But I know that's not the best thing to do and I wouldn't want you to do that.
This person your describing seems extremely emotionally draining to be around. If you aren't confrontational I feel like its best to just avoid her, or if you are the blunt type I think you should just kick her out or help her find a place to stay. I mean is she even making an effort to move out like actively saving up?

I also let someone stay over after getting kicked out because I felt bad and it was the most mentally draining thing ever.

I guess it comes back to why were they kicked out in the first place? The answer is right there.

These people are bad roommates and bad tenants.

I saw a YouTube video about a guy who let his coworker stay at his home after being kicked out and he just refused to move out. Ended up squatting.

Yeah, most people are shallow, if they were deep thinkers with a heart, the world would be a better place
