I just imagine taking something to knock out then waking up tied up and at the mercy of the other person. There are so many horrific things that some humans do to others. I just don't want to be unconscious around someone I barely know. If you are young and have a nice body they could traffic you as well.

The partners thread on here is an absolutely terrible idea, they should get rid of it as it's unsafe, I don't understand why it's allowed to still be here, the fact is that you just cannot trust and rely on people in this world so it's always better to plan to die alone if someone wishes to be gone. I think that this website should just be an anonymous place to discuss suicide

True, it's risky as hell to partner up with a stranger online to do a suicide pact

Yes, everything in the world contains risk. Airbnb, workplaces, families, squirrels

What are some defenses? Observing yellow/red flags. Researching them, including posting history. Extraction and deterrence. Taking months to learn them. Long conversations where it's hard for them to maintain false masks. Stay anonymous as long as you want. If someone's shady, tell the mods. If someone's abusive, post it publicly here and tag the mods

You certainly don't have to do all these, but each lowers probability of bad outcomes

The partners megathread is the most important part of the site for some people. But this world has some broken stairs, so it helps to watch our steps a bit
