Discussion Partial hanging aftermath

Any insights into partial hanging visual aftermath?
Would my eyes be popping out of my head or anything like that?

I want to look as regular as possible when found as to lessen any trauma to anyone who has to see me and I don't want to Google this because I really don't want to be exposed to any imagery of it right now.

That's definitely an option. Idk what's more traumatic though, finding me messed up or not finding me and never having that closure..

If a person is found shortly after attempting, their tongue tends to stick out. It looks much worse than my description suggests.

I wouldn't recommend you look at such pics tbh. I have a strong stomach for that kind of thing, but there is something about hanging that is just off-putting.

When the tongue didn't stick out, the bodies actually looked quite normal, just, well... lifeless. I think the decoloration of the face is what makes me so uncomfortable looking at them.

In most of the pictures I saw the body hadn't begun to decompose though, in the few cases where it had, it was disgusting.

If you haven't eaten recently, and your body is found quickly, then there probably won't be enough time for that to happen before autopsy.

Bowels normally let loose within a couple hours. I know this from first-hand experience.

I believe you should die looking like yourself. If you don't want your family to discover you, leave a letter instructing them to contact 911.

Maybe someone could wear a Donald Trump mask and accomplish a couple tasks at the same time - CTB of oneself and a symbolic effigy at the same time?
