Discussion Options?

Ok, so after my bit of a binge last night I;m feeling actually a bit more positive this morning or maybe it's because I have the EEOC meeting today. Not sure ... anyway. I've come up with an option. Since I absolutely abhor this place they call a state and would give my right arm to leave and go back (or go anywhere that is civilized) I'm leaning towards claiming bankruptcy, leaving this hellhole and starting over someplace where I may find just some sliver of peace - or maybe there is no peace left for humanity and I need to move forward with Plan A and ctb. And you ladies and gentlemen, any thoughts? Please do keep in mind that I am older and have lived quite a shitty life - seen a bit, done a bit, unloved, invisible. You get the picture. Have I answered my own question???

I would love to answer you but that depends on so many things about your life. However, only you can really make this decision as I don't know anything about you and the factors that could be crucial in this. I would recommend to take a lot of time in making this decision. I don't mean to do it 24/7-a-lot but more like, letting your ideas sit with you for a while. Make sure to lay out the pros and cons of each option.

I agree, but it means the people I work for can continue to treat me like shit with no repercussions

Wow, if everyone really is that much of a shit, you might as well leave. As a bad environment will only intoxicate you more. A new environment would be fresh. As I said before, think again of the pros and cons if ever you think of actually doing that. What would you be leaving behind? What do you have to loose? What kind of person could you be if it weren't for this intoxicating factor in this shitty place?

You don't seem like you've got nothing to lose much when you put it that way...Well, (I know way easier said than done...but that's the thing about it..about everything) what if you just give yourself that opportunity with everything you can? Everything feels so fucked so why not just try anyways? Ask yourself... if youre actually doing your utter most best to make a change to your life.
It doesn't even need to be moving. Something new could always help. Maybe if you have the money, maybe travel somewhere and learn with an addition of their yummiest cuisins! Who knows, you could give up now when something sweet was just about headed your way. Maybe, nothing ever is really headed anyone's way because you are what brings things to your way with your own effort. Do your best as this life of yours as YOU is your only ;)
