Notification won't go away

Ahhhhh this is driving me batty. When I'm in the main forum there's one particular notification (of someone liking one of my posts) that won't disappear. Have tried everything to get rid of it but it just hangs around like a bad smell. Always one new notification... The same one! Is this some kind of bug?
