Discussion non suicidal people :If I gave you 1million dollars would you still feel suicidal?

I think having a million dollars would make things better only for a little while. I'd like to think that having the time and money to seek out therapy would help get me on the right track in life, but I'm afraid I'd only be fooling myself. I've been talking about my problems for years, and oddly enough only more problems have been tacked on to the list of problems I talk about. I often fantasize about winning the lottery or something, but I think having all that money would give me all the more reason to not leave my home, so that wouldn't really be living at all.

I won't deny having a million would make life easier in some aspects. I'd give the most of the money to the people who were good to me, pay off some debts so no one would have to responsible for them, and buy the best exit money could afford. Not necessarily in that order.

It might help my mental health issues to some extent by helping to ease financial stress but would do nothing for my physical problems. I'm getting the best possible treatment and still can't function. Life is not worth living when you can barely get out of bed and constantly feel like total shit and are always painfully exhausted.

I would need at least 500 million. I would buy up some houses and sell them to lower class struggling people only at a low price, it would be a delight to see how pissed off NIMBYs and upper class people would get.

But in my case nothing could ever make me not want to die. I've never wanted to be here and I despise life itself, I'm tired of everything and I just want to forget about this life and permanently cease to exist. There is no value to ageing and experiencing health problems. The thought of old age is horrifying. To me, it's more rational to leave this world as to die solves all problems. All humans are capable of experiencing extreme pain regardless of how much money they have.

i think i would still be suicidal, but would use the money to buy me a teddy bear from those pickup machines and sleep with it lol and

It wouldn't change a thing for me. I would absolutely use it to buy some serious narcotics so I can peacefully ctb though. Wanna go out in style. Obviously I'd give the rest to my family so they can live comfortably for a long time.
