After a year of saying hello, flattering her every chance I got, I finally had the courage to declare myself to the muse of the gym I go to. I wrote her a letter asking her out, saying it was a privilege to see her every morning and that I really wanted to get to know her better.

All she said was: 'I'm married and I don't want to make friends at the gym'.
And I said: 'You've had all this time to tell me, why didn't you tell me before?'
She said: "I don't need to tell you anything."

I wasted a year of my life falling in love with the wrong woman ... again! what agony!

You can judge me! I deserve to be ridiculed and crucified by the world! I'm just not going to try to die again because I've been living in a post-mortem experience for a long time.

On that day I felt bad, but then I thought, I tried and I was honest and true to myself.

Meanwhile, she hasn't shown up since that day... I hope she's travelling and it wasn't my fault that she stopped going to the gym.

Some people like the attention. I agree she should have let you know about her martial status earlier. That being said don't give so much so readily. Be more guarded. If the right woman comes along fine else stay single. Trust me peace of mind is more important.
