it's so exhausting talking to people about wanting to not be around anymore. No one really gets it everyone is so different from how I am about it. I have thought about it every day since I was small and it's just a regular part of my life now to want to exit. Whenever things get bad I go to sasu and read all through the forums and lurk. Everyone is so much like me in their own way. It's ironic I think, to finally find people you truly deeply connect with and we all want to exit. It brings me a great deal of comfort though. I always hated going onto Google and typing up questions about how to do it and getting just bombarded with weird uncaring propaganda for why life is worth living. It's okay to not want to be alive It's just another way to be. I just wish other people in my life wouldn't take it so hard so I could talk more freely. I wish safer methods were just over the counter, next to the advil and stuff. I thought I found my place in community with other trans women. But time and time again the most accepting, beautiful, thoughtful, kind people are here in the forums of Sasu. Thank you so much my friends for being here.

Yeah, it truly is strange as to how many people in society are pro life and would rather want us to live for as long as possible even though it's all pointless and futile. It's nice that there are people who understand what it's like to not want to be alive in this pro suffering world

I agree, sometimes people I know that were extremely suicidal turn very pro-life, like a weird desperate way, it's weird. SaSu is such a breath of fresh air for me.

Yeah, I agree with you. SaSu is like a safe space and one of the only platforms that not only allow detailed method discussion (the pitfalls of certain methods, the reliability, the pros and cons, etc.) to help people have as much information as possible before making their decision, but also another community which actually empathizes with topics of death and CTB without judgment, criticism, or any proselytism of religion and pro-life propaganda. It is also a community in which most people will respect another's decision whether it is to continue to live, to recover, or even if one decides to go through with the act of CTB'ing. I cannot find any other community that has the same vibe as that of SaSu and I too, find some solace in reading others' posts, posting my own two cents, and hoping that even when one day I do CTB (inevitable, just depending on time and circumstance), at least my works will be of use to the SaSu community as well as pro-choicers who decide to carry on the pro-choice torch.

It's kind of ironic isn't it, that a web forum that's full of people who detest themselves or life in general have so much love & tolerance for each other 🌹💔
