• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

They really don't. I've literally had people laugh and make jokes when I tell them about the shit I've been through.

Forever is overly exaggerated, one who controls their intact controls their emotions- uhm, that's from me almost fucking over my family on accident and have e.d and only texting the hotline cuz I got rid of all my friends cuz mental break down, I'm only better now cuz I worked my booty off forcing myself to do better (it's exhausting and no one cares either way)

I think sometimes people laugh because they are surprised or don't know what to do. They also smile and say stupid things when they are shocked or confused. Not saying this is the case in your situation but just pointing it out. People smirk and laugh at funerals and stuff and they're torn inside. Um yeah I noticed nobody ever calls and nothing ever happens when I'm sick, ill or hurting. It's basically all on me to create all the social life I want, and I'm just too sick and hurting. So I've learned to live with nothing. I think they probably don't call help or care because they are trapped in their own survival and it's hell just like mine. In that sense, I'm glad they don't come by. People coming by is probably better if you're doing active things in life like building a family or moving up the career ladder. A lot/most/almost all(?) relationships are formed by these worldly pursuits a lot of suicidal folks like me have just given up on.

To most people, it's easier to assume others are alright than to assume everyone else is suffering. Waiting for people to notice is a really bad way to get help. A majority of the people on this site would likely feel better if they would just reach out. We're all so paranoid about how others see us that we place our personal image before our well being. A great amount of this community just expect to have their problems noticed and blame society for not caring when no one does. Waiting is not trying or hurting yourself more, trying is telling people clearly you're not well.
