Venting No one cares that no one cares.

Over time, I have found that no one cares about the suffering or problems of others, to an extreme degree of apathy. But what I've also realised is that no one cares about this predicament, so people who are suffering are expected to just crawl in a hole and die. No one is interested in solving problems unless someone tries to ctb. Someone could literally be missing all their limbs and people would just say to get over it. The apathy and disgust of humans towards others is truly remarkable. There is only hatred in this world. This is my #1 reason to ctb and I'm sure I will cite it when I die.

Most people don't care, many people only care when it affects them, some people pretend to care, a few people actually care (bless their souls) but their "care" is violating what should have been my human right to end myself.

In my experience there are people who have empathy toward others and want to help where they can, but there are a lot of the other kind. It sucks because it can make seem that helpers harder to find.

People are also very selective with their empathy also. If it's present at all.

I have empathy, and it's killing me. Like the time when our governor put the state in lockdown because urban Black folks were dying at such a rate that their bodies were being stacked like cordwood in hospital closets, and some rural White folks absolutely pitched a fit because they weren't allowed to take their boats out. I never got over the rage & horror of that.

That's when I learned the American experiment had failed. Actually, it had probably never been intended to succeed in the first place. The whole idea of "liberty and justice for all" was just some stupid talking point meant to lure desperate people into compliance.

Anyway, I caught covid pre-vaccine 'cause it turns out viruses don't respect zip codes after all. The disease triggered a huge autoimmune response & now I live in a home for the disabled. I get exactly as much empathy as the dead men and women whose bodies were stacked in hospital closets.

I still hurt for the families missing faces around the dinner table. I hurt for me. I'm infuriated that my countrymen are largely repulsive and there's not a damn thing I can do.

I'd love some Nembutal about now.

No one cares, so it really shouldn't be surprising that no one cares about that either. I mean, its baked into the not caring.

They'll only care when i'm about to jump off a building . then they 'll try and grab you and stop you . same if they find you hanging but still alive they will cut you down and give you brain damage . or pull you out of water drowning and again give you brain damage. they only care about keeping you alive in this hell for what reason?

if they find me after i shot myself they will call the police to get me to the ER if i'm still alive also . after any suicide attempt.

When I worked as a nurse on the neuro station - fuckn hell - I had a girl there, my age, so very young, who tried to CTB from a high building.

She survived and her liver started to shut down so she was complety yellow and was dying slowly.

And the only thing the other nurses could talk about was "its her own fault, she tried to die so she has to live with it now."

Pissed me off till this day.

That is totally horrific, people like this are just monsters but sadly almost everyone is like this. It's extremely uncommon for someone to not be as cruel as possible.

Humans have specialized in selective invisibility: they see only what is necessary to preserve their illusion of normalcy.
