Hey all, first thread post here but have been reading for a while.

To be clear, I have a 45ACP but I'm worried about missing that sweet spot and cant get a shotgun until my new ID arrives (tried yesterday) so I've been trying the NightNight but can't get it right. I got the cornhole bags and the ratcheting and can get it super tight--but I dont pass out. I'm slightly underweight if that matters--idk, I just want to get it right. It almost feels like the ratcheting is moving the 'rice' around and not putting pressure where it should be?

I also notice that my artery pulsates like crazy but even after 30 seconds I'm still conscious so I stop because clearly somethings not right and the idea of this is to not make a scene. Shotgun is only if nothing else works, would rather ctb this way. Any tips on it? Do I need to make sure the pressure is exactly on the pulsating part or maybe even using socks? Idk if anyone has experience (or has seen a similar problem) that can help out here?

Think the next step is trying partial but feel like that might lead to the same problem--or then ligature (?) (I know very little about that one).

Thanks for the help
Also mentioning because its kind of funny but I had to cut up one of the ratchet straps that came in the mail because it was way too long
I should also probably mention that I tried rolling up the cornhole bags a little so in theory they would push the rice out of the way but I dont think it did much if anything.

This method isn't reliable, the NN thread is full of unsuccessful testimonies and there's only one video of someone using it sucsessfuly. Don't bother with this crap.

Unfortunate but good to know, thank you. Is partial hanging or Ligature better?

There are a lot of reports and videos of people succeeding with partial, but it's also because hanging is probably the most popular suicide method. I think NN is a bit tricky because as the ratchet tightens, the cornbags slide horizontally. It could work if one measures and computes the exact position to tie the cornbags to.
In my experience however, a well positioned rope pulled upwards simply by hand manages to give me tunnel vision, I think it's enough.
