Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

the last good thing I have left in my life may slip away from me at any moment..

what a difference a day can make.

my dog is currently in an emergency veterinarian hospital undergoing pyometra surgery.

the thought of losing her is devastating to me. my whole world is lost without her because she is and has been my world for the last 12 years.

I'm waiting with my fent kit ready to go. if things don't go well I will gather her body and exit this world with some sense of comfort having her still near me before the void of her true absence consumes me.

This existence can certainly be very cruel, and I can imagine that it must be painful being in that situation. If your decision is to leave, then I wish you freedom from all suffering.

thank you everyone for your support and for the kind words left by some of you <3

it has been a very rough week but my baby girl has pulled through the surgery. the cost was outrageous but compared to the value of my baby's life it was nothing. of course the ER vet wanted 50% up front and i did not like (it made me sad and angry) how euthanasia kept being mentioned as an alternative to surgery...

i've lost my job as i did not want to go to work before my dog had healed up a bit. my company's HR dept did not want to approve a personal leave of absence related to my dog. truly rotten of them but i'll be ok. going to file for unemployment and spend some more quality time with my baby girl.

i'm really happy that i was able to give her some more time. despite not wanting to be here every single day i'll continue to do everything in my power to keep my girl happy and healthy.

last edit i swear haha. i had some success with pyometra in rats using clavamox. obv diff from dog but had several pyo rats over years. my eperience wwas the quicker i got them on a strong af broad spectrum antibiotic = better outcome, even cases with subsequent hysterotomy, euth, ect. it def helped all rats receiving that asap. some continued years. also had to 'vet shop' a lot because prices so crazy diff, one near me cost 190 for rat hystrecmoy one cost `500.

Your strength is so inspiring, thanks for the update ❤️

Sorry your former employers treated you so poorly, spend all that time spoiling your precious baby!
