Just looking for some casual conversation. I'm broken and live alone, working a job that's destroying me.

I was just exactly where you are. With time it can get better. The question is if you feel like you can stand the wait or need it to be over. Since things have gotten better I'm still staying active here so people going through enough rough shit as it is don't have to be alone doing it. So I'm always down to chat if you want.

It's a labor job and I'm falling apart. On top of that they like to force you to travel, and it stresses me out. I live alone, most my family has either died or moved away.

That changes constantly, but I can always fall back to Breaking the Habit from Linkin park.
Looking back now, I think the loss of Chester hit me harder than I realized at the time, and I cried like a bitch during the live memorial concert.
When he wasn't there to sing numb, I lost it.

The worst part is, I love the work, and I'm good at it, but I just can't physically keep up.

I've been wanting to CTB for over 15 years. For the last 10 my health has been on a decline. Everyone older than me in my family has died or is dying of cancer.
Will I change my mind? Maybe, but at this point I would rather die than be homeless. I wouldn't last on the streets anyway.

The only thing keeping me going is my parents so i can't even imagine how rough that is on you.
Certain things seem so hard to talk about with strangers, that people otherwise would just judge you for wanting to talk about.

Exactly why I wanted to join this site. I think they would understand. Everyone in my immediate family has tried to CTB with one of them being successful. Maybe it runs in the family.

I was raised baptist. I believe there is a GOD, but his rules are not what man's religion controls, with the man written Bible.
I would rather live forever and not be a slave to capitalism, but here we are.

I'm Christian, but very troubled. Capitalism an idea of humankind, likewise communism and fascism. I think it's arrogant for humankind to believe we can create a utopia here, life is full of toil and hardship.

If you are looking for reasons to continue existing then I think the suicide discussion is the wrong section of the site, this section should be a place that is free from toxic positivity, this section is about suicide and the recovery section is for those who want to stay here. But to me existing could never be a desirable state, the only reason as to why I'm still trapped here is because suicide really is so unnecessarily difficult in this world. I could personally never understand why anyone would want to prolong this futile process just to suffer even more as time goes on just to end up being tortured by old age. Existing is so harmful, filled with risks and the potential to experience unlimited amounts of suffering, I really despise existing.

I'm sorry that life has brought you here, hopefully you will find some comfort in this community. People here are generally friendly and supportive, and the population is diverse. If you are looking to find reasons to live the Recovery section is your best bet. If not, you will find plenty of resources and support in the Suicide Discussions section. The water is warm, wade in.

Mine is Life is Peachy. That album helped me get through two very difficult years at school; it was angry and violent, and I loved it. And the cover of Lowrider was just too fun.

I honestly don't know. I've had my highs and lows, but I just can't take this world anymore. I feel useless, a charity case that no one will donate to.

Picking a favorite Korn album is hard. See you on the other side officially got me into Korn, but I don't know if I'd call it my favorite.
