New member to the site....anybody else new to this?

Hi everyone, been looking for a little while from the outside and now that I am a member of the community just thought I would say hello and see who else is new or relatively new to this? Still figuring out my way around the forum a little bit sometimes I get a bit stuck on a thread and keep reading and reading when I should be exploring the forum a bit more don't know if that's just me?

A good starting point would be reading pinned threads in Suicide Discussion section. Sorry if you've read them.

There is also "Introduce yourself" pinned thread on Offtopic section. Please feel free to post there.

Personally I'm relatively new user (joined Feb 7, 2023) but I'd been a long time lurker here so it was easy for me to navigate this forum.

I hope you'll find what you are looking for on this forum.

Thank you. I'm still reading through I end up lost on random tangents all the time, literally have no focus. I didn't realise I was a lurker when was on the outside looking in, glad to be a member it makes me feel accepted. I wish you all the best too

You won't be able to unlock features such as the search bar and PM until you reach a score (that is unknown), but you can easily reach the score with enough interaction (posting and commenting). Don't worry, you'll get there soon enough.

im glad i'm not the only one, quite a lot of abbreviations and code words isn't there but slowly starting to learn them. I already knew what CTB was from reading the threads before I became a member and i am wondering what SN means

nice to meet you. it's good to be meeting likeminded people. i always feel isolated but this feels like a real community
