• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Hi, I've only been on the forum for a few days, said very little so far, basically lurking, reading a lot of the other posts, mostly vent posts, its nice to not feel so alone with my thoughts.
But I feel awkward to say anything even though I find many of the posts comforting, with at least one being so much so that its what inspired me to feel comfortable making an account in the first place.
Even now I feel kinda nervous and like I'm overthinking it which is why I'm posting this as off-topic.
The only forums I've used before were for games and some anime/manga stuff so I didn't think so heavily about it.
Are there any suggestions or things I should read that would help become more comfortable with talking both making my own posts and to other users here besides just familiarizing myself with the rules/forum guidelines?

Idk, just go wild and do whatever you want I guess, there is no guidelines in what to post as long as it's something not degrading, doesn't dox someone, doesn't give personal information, etc.

Just read rules&info on the top left, they are not that many.

There's a make a friend thread and otherwise I just kind of browse and comment on things that I relate to. But I'm awkward in groups and on forums like this so I might not give the best advice lol

I'd say just be yourself. It seems to be a kind-hearted and non-judgmental place. I'm new here too. Main thing is be kind to and take care of yourself. 😊

Be yourself. We are all some form of mentally ill here so we're not about to judge you for it.

Maybe familiarize yourself with the various acronyms and phrases that are often used here so you won't get too confused when reading things.

Have a hello and welcome hug 🫂

i get being nervous about what to say, i have a hard time posting as well. to give you the advice ive posted before, i'd say to try and figure out what you are wanting from the forum. if you are looking for a community, then congrats! you've already achieved that. make some friends, chat, and enjoy yourself. if you are looking for advice with ctb, then there are plenty of ways to go about that as well. dont feel bad about asking what you think are dumb questions, we're very welcoming :) i personally enjoy the role of helping out others where i can, such as giving advice, linking resources, and just generally responding to posts that i have something relevant to add. you'll figure it out soon im sure! welcome to SaSu!! :)
