Hey guys, so I plan to ctb in about a year if not two years maximum (but probably in one year). I intend to use a firearm but as of recently a thought popped into my head to combine using a firearm with a drug overdose. I am asking you guys for your input if you think it would be a good idea, the substance I have in mind is illegal and can only be obtained through the dark web so I would be taking a chance in getting the substance. Btw the vendor is legit so it's not a scam. I know how to properly aim the firearm for a lights out quick/ instant death and I could also barricade myself in my room or a motel/hotel room with these custom door locks that I found on Amazon but the reason I'd want to get a drug overdose involved is to counteract any potential SI I may get with the gun so I would have no choice but to do it. What do you guys think?

Alcohol and benzos or alcohol and firearm or opioids and benzos alcohol. Honestly anything that makes me remind myself of how horrible shit is reminds me of how bad it is even without substances.

My worst point was through drug addiction. Don't recommend that unless you really wanna go with a bang and go bad…

A gun alone defeats SI in my opinion. It's like taking pills it's easy. You just pull on a trigger. The right spot the right bullet makes it all peaceful. Getting a drug involved is helpful but it's overkill for something that already has a high chance of success. Drugs dont always have a good chance of killing you. Plenty of factors at play. Purity, tolerance, and narcan. Idk if I missed one but all of these can make a drug OD less successful.

Forgive me. I've been lurking for about a month. I've gotten some of the acronyms but not all. Can someone please explain to me what CTB stands for? I've got an idea of what it means, but I just want to know what it stands for. I appreciate your help.

In theory, yes a gun does not have SI but it does have SI before the trigger pull. I have a 9mm Ruger and for the life of me I can't seem to pull the trigger.

Idk for some people it may be easy but for some it can seem impossible, SI is a universal thing when faced with the reality of death, no matter the method.

We're all different. Most people are wired to fear pain. Thats what stopped me on my previous try. Pills werent painful to use so it was easy swallowing a hundred or two of them. I was going to combine it with an artery cut but thats where SI kicked in. It wouldve painful if I had gone thru with it.

Pulling a trigger to me seems easy but again we're all different. By nature everyone fears death, but at a certain time of your life you'll have enough of the problems that youre facing. At that point death itself doesnt scare you. SI wont be an issue with pulling a trigger or ODing on pills. Because both of those involve no pain. Pills might later on but it all depends on the drug. And even if they do cause pain. Taking the actual pill doesnt cause any pain so your brain wont be telling you "this hurts dont swallow it." Pain is the hardest thing to defeat. But fear it's not so hard.

Imo, there's no such thing as overkill when it comes to suicide, if anything, you would want to be overkilled.

If you can stack, do it. Better be safe than sorry.
