NDE and suicide?

Has anyone attempted and had an NDE? I've heard a lot about near death experiences and people coming back and saying they were told it wasn't their time. My question is wouldn't that happen to everyone that committed suicide because it wouldn't be their time? Or maybe it does but people that commit suicide are like "too bad I don't want to go back" ? Also, I've heard that the more drugs a person is given, the less likely they'll be to have an NDE (maybe because they're too out of it to be aware of the experience). So would overdosing reduce the chance of having an NDE?

The materialists believe that the sole reason for a NDE is the brain dumping endogenous DMT into the system resulting in what amounts to a psychedelic trip. Under that explanation other drugs could interfere with that process.

However, there's plenty of anecdotal reports that suggest something that transcends the physical is going on.

There are hospice videos and I've seen it myself where a heavily drugged person in the dying process is undergoing a "visioning" experience.

There are NDE's from people that OD'd on street drugs. Even bad NDEs that resulted in them changing their ways. Yet there tons of junkies that have OD'd a dozen times and never had a NDE.

Anesthesia is a bit weird. I wonder why people don't have out of body experiences with it. I have heard NDE's from people that went in for routine surgery with anesthesia. complications arose resulting in them coding followed by a NDE, getting resuscitated and stabilized while still under and then they remember the NDE when the anesthesia wears off.

The NDE seems hit or miss as to who gets one. We don't get to hear from those that tell the 'managers' "too bad I don't want to go back" :D
