N held up... so anxious

The UPS website shows that my N has 'cleared customs' and that it has been 'released by the government agency' but it has had that status for the third day now. I'm worried something is up. Anyone have this experience ordering N from D?

No worries that's what mine showed too and then suddenly the email came that it would be delivered 2 days later.

All good and expected.

UPS wouldn't be able to send you this update if the package was still stuck at the border.
I wouldn't be surprised if the package is delivered before the weekend.

Update: I called UPS from an anonymous number and it seems that the national health regulator is 'inspecting' the package. It might be that D did include meto in my package, even though I didn't mention anything about it in my e-mails to them.

Can I ask why an anonymous number? Did you not order the package to be sent to your real name?

Let's hope they just wave it through. Might just be a delay and nothing more.

I did, but anyone can use someone's name and address to send them a package. That's usually why customs simply seizes packages - to do an investigation and 'prove' that the package is actually the recipient's would take up a lot of resources.

Also: I know this is a very stressful time. My package was opened all the way to the box including the sticker cut and the plastic cap snapped off. They still let it pass. Just took a day longer.

It'll be OK. 4 days isn't very long for this sort of thing, as stressful as it is. Try to forget about it for now if you can, distract yourself if at all possible. I really live by the idea that "no news is good news".

No rash decisions please. Definitely not messing about with SN while waiting for N.

They haven't figured anything out, they are probably just overwhelmed and busy.
Remember how someone reported their package being held up in European customs for something like 30 days and then arrived?

There is a good chance that the status online isn't updated right away. It wouldn't be the first time that a package is delivered and then you get 4 update "status" emails all at once.

Patience is not a virtue I possess either, but a pinch of it would help right now.
Tomorrow is another day.

Thank you @Al Cappella and @wljourney. Fortunately/unfortunately I'm so overwhelmed with work deadlines (one of my many reasons for wanting to CTB) that I have plenty of distractions. I'll just throw myself into work and try to remember that no news is good news... really great point about how long customs can take. That really puts things in perspective and I'll try to remain patient!

No, never received my N. It got seized and I had a very bizarre, invasive visit from LE that exposed my plans to my SO, but luckily did not face any actual legal repercussions. I am in Canada, but I know from other users on this site that there are people in the US who've had similar experiences lately. To give some context, I used BTC and took every precaution (e.g., by using a VPN, encryption, and Tor browser) and this still happened. Never ordering N again.

As I've mentioned in other posts, I don't blame D for what happened. I think the unfortunate reality is that LE has, for some reason, started paying attention to packages coming from D's address and is screening many of them.
