Venting My therapist dropped me

my therapist basically told me that I should've been put in a psych ward the last time I attempted suicide, that I was too messed up to keep seeing her and I had to see an in-person therapist. And then dropped me despite me telling her that no one near me takes my stupid fucking insurance and asking if we could keep meeting while I tried to work things out. fuck me I guess. She didn't help me at all.

I understand the frustration about the failure of an inadequate therapist. Back in May, I had a therapist send my anxiety through the roof because of his aggressive refusal to listen. Now I am seeing someone who is ineffective because of his inability to offer insight or solutions.

Totally feeling you on this one. Hope we can both find someone who can help us.

What the fuck? What kind of therapist would say that? It's like if a firefighter refused to try to save a person, telling them "sorry, you're too trapped by fire, gotta go!" I'm so sorry you've had such a terrible experience, I hope you can find a better one.

Therapists are human beings too. Sometimes the negative energy people like us exude can contaminate others.
Her proffesion doesn't make her better than you or immune to the darkness. You have to respect her wishes.
Not what you want to hear im sure but some people are just too much for a person to deal with especially if they don't
honestly feel like they can help you. Meh.

She may have felt she was unable to help you and that continuing to try would be unfair to you and possibly unethical.

I had that happen too - she basically said I need a higher level of care than she can provide and I found a much better therapist. Hope you find a better one
