Ok, the plan has some risks, but it's coming together …
Ultimately because of my situation (living with parents) I'm not gonna be able to try a plan that's fully reliable
And this situation is not gonna change any time soon
A lot of tall hotels, the terraces or balconies start to go inward such that it's not a straight shot. But I've found one that seems to be a pretty straight shot, and a great height too. I have to time this for when my mom's out of town in a bit over a month because she'll definitely hear me sneaking out. When she's gone I'll be left with just my dad, I might be able to pull it off. I only have one chance at this. I know that if I can make it to the hotel, I can definitely jump, and it should be fatal. My plan is to go downstairs - then wait like ten mins, if my dad hasn't come down to "check" then he probably didn't hear me go down, right? Then, open the door. Sit outside on the porch for ten minutes. That way if he comes out because he heard the front door, I can claim I wanted some air or something. Then, I'll have to abort the plan, but at least it won't be like I was caught trying to CTB. Even this part is risky because it will be viewed as highly suspicious, and I might get watched in the nighttime from then on out, but there may still be possibilities even if that occurs. After that, I'll take a car service to check in to my hotel. I'll have a stool in my suitcase in case I need help getting over the railing. I'll have left my phone behind and done an eSIM on an old phone so that I can do what needs to be done without being tracked on Find My. The hotel is about 30 mins away. I figure, 10 mins to check in, 10 to get to my room and get set up, I could be dead within the hour, right? What a thought! I need this so badly … the only risk is that although I can pay for the room in advance w an account my parents are not joint users on (so they won't know), theoretically if my dad went to check on me, saw I was missing, called police, and police reached out to my credit card company to put one of those watch things on it that alerts about new transactions … then they could see me swipe for incidentals at check in, and then it'd all be over, I'm sure I'd be detained and all that. Because I'm going to open a new credit card and secretly get it from the mailbox but there is a chance that if it's a new card and I try to use it for incidentals it'll get blocked, hopefully it'll just be one of those "was this you?" things but I suppose there's a chance I'll have to use a different payment method - namely, the credit card my parents know about. But i figure - what are the odds my dad happens to check on me and all that happens within the time frame? Calls police, (unfortunately they will take it seriously given that I made suicidal statements months ago, have had a huge decline in functioning, etc., no one believes it's due to the psych meds and so it just looks like someone who was severely depressed/nonfunctional/suicidal just went missing), but then they still have to get details, initiate the thing w the credit card … I just feel like for that whole sequence to occur in enough time to catch my credit card swipe, it's unlikely enough to not make it a barrier to trying. I'm probably going to have to accept a tiny bit of risk w/ any CTB plan but I just can't tell whether that's a tiny risk or a big risk …anyone familiar with the timing on these sorts of things? Please
