Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

As some of you know, I had a DNR put in my core health record. It applies to both pre-hospital treatment and hospital treatment where there is no prospect of recovery. (I'm using Google translate here, as I struggle with the translation) Anyway, my partner had a fit of rage and broke some stuff when they saw it in my papers, because my GP had written that the DNR applies to both CTB and acute illness/injury.

I do understand that my partner is angry, but in the end, it's my life, my body and my death. I have planned to CTB during the winter if everything goes according to plan. I really just feel like I am a kind of a shell of a person walking around without really having any kind of quality of life. The health care system has long given up on me, and I have given up on myself too. When I tried to break up with my partner, they said if I broke up with them they would shoot themselves in the head. It's all so complicated. It feels like I'm killing two people.

Hi, I saw this post as I was searching for how to get a DNR. How are things with your partner now? Was that their first time finding out your plan to kill yourself?

You can get the DNR & it may protect you to a degree, but not completely. They'll still try to revive you (so that just means failure is not an option IF you decide to CTB).

But I also want to know about the rest. OP, it is not your fault that they don't accept the situation, please don't blame yourself.
