Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

I live in an old shitty apartment. Constant problems with mice and bugs. Always surrounded by spiders and cockroaches. One day i spent HOURS wiping down my apartment, cleaning up disgusting amounts of mouse pee and shit. I took foam and steel wool and i closed every entrance I could find. set up cockroach bait. i bought mouse traps and set them down with bait. i thought i solved it, and i was so proud of myself. ......until today when i saw a mouse, maybe a rat who knows, in a different room. I am so fucking tired i broke down crying. I feel disgusting. I have episodes of severe depression where i can not do anything. i can not get out of bed let alone do chores. i try so so hard. i live by myself. i cook and i clean and i do my own laundry. and yet i live in these shit conditions. too poor too afford better. too tired to change. too tired to bathe everyday or even eat. i want to go to sleep forever. i want to never wake up

I know it's an extra responsibility you might not need right now but a cat would do wonders for the mice/rat situation and they're great companions.

Is the mice situation your own doing or is it due to hygiene/waste issues in the area?

If it's the latter, are you able to involve the landlord or the local council (UK term, not sure where you are)?

I live in NYC, so mice are not uncommon. They will pop up every now and then. though usually it is not this bad of a problem. My building is really just shitty, dirty and old. There are too many cracks for them to get through,. My landlord works has worked with pest control before but i guess theres only so much they can do. Maybe some of it is my fault, I don't clean as much as I should.

I'll give you advice that helps me.
1. I don't plan ahead, because I usually let myself down.
2. On your better days, set a goal to clean 1 small area. It may take a month to complete your whole apartment, so what. Once that goal is completed, congratulate yourself and stop for that day.
3. Recognize when you have a bad day that ot is on! Do whatever you want that day! I love cake and ice-cream so I usually eat that.
4. Most importantly, keep your mind busy! I wear my airpods on my terrible days and it helps. Listen to pleasant music or audio books. I crank the volume up and focus on what I'm listening to.
Hopefully, something is said can help you.
