Yes but you don't know who will recover and who won't. You're no wizard, either.
The vast majority of people who experience mental health problems go on to make a recovery.
And there are those who don't. That's why some are on this forum. Even if the vast majority recover, it isn't fair to just say, "you will get better" to every person that has issues.
It's really nice of you to wish for recovery, but to promise recovery is what antagonizes people on here. It brushes off the harsh reality of the situation, it has come to ctb because there is no other escape or choice.
None of us knows what will happen in the future. But it isn't right to assume that we do know for others when we only know them from a screen. We can only take what we know from their posts and avoid making things worse. Especially on this site, you have to really be careful of what you say, the intentions may be good, but the reception may be negative.
If you had said that in the recovery section, none of us would be debating with you. The problem lies in that this is the suicide discussion section. Positive words are not expected on this section unless the poster explicitly asks for it.
I really don't want to further derail from what op posted. Op is asking for support and arguing on won't help them. I don't expect you to understand my viewpoint, but know that not many people appreciate hearing positive statements.
I won't be further replying on about this topic.
