when it comes to music/artist/albums I always assumed that tinnitus might sound a bit like a Ryoji Ikeda album but less loud
or something by Tetsu Inoue
I do not suffer from tinnitus as far as I know but I find random moments of deafness in one ear randomly followed by a high frequency noise, static, or whistling to be normal or spontaneous or sometimes it presents itself when I am incredibly focused or zoning out most likely due to years of disregarding loud noise warnings when using headphones/earphones at a high volume
