Before Aaron Lewis went full-country, he had this gem of a song which makes me get in my feels
The first symthwave song I ever heard, got me entirely hooked on the genre
Been a huge fan of this band for a long time, this song cheers me up a little anytime I hear it.
Song I listened to while sitting over the edge of a cliff face earlier this year, can feel with ocean wind every time i hear it
because this line sums up ctb: "far from the twisted reach of crazy sorrow..."
still not sleeping...
John Frusciante - Dying Song
I find this song very peaceful and comforting. It embraces an approaching ascension while honoring a full life. I think John's tread this territory deeply and many of his songs speak of a yearning to die, to merge, to disappear. His music has helped me stay through many, many a dark night. And I intend to hold out here for as long as I can so I can hear him strum his sweet Guitar and wail about Infinities just one more time.
