• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

here in my country, idk how it is in your country, but sometimes if a person goes missing here, the news and social media will talk about you for a good 2 months sometimes,
maybe even longer.

for some reason it's always a really popular news topic... they find it interesting.
then they can sit online and do their own little "where did they go?" investigation.
i guess that's the psychology behind it.

and sure, some of them probably do it with good intentions.
but if i (hypothetically) jumped from a bridge and fell into the ocean, they would never find my body.
and i (hypothetically) would become very famous for several months, and i have absolutely zero interest in that shit.

so i can't really drown in the great ocean where i would never get found.

it would need to be in a pool or some shit, but the catch with that is, that it's much more difficult.
a pool is typically near where there's many other people present, who might try to "rescue" you.

the "easy way out" as they say, is for sure not easy.

Because people care about what happens to their image and body after death. It's nothing serious, it's been normal since the start of human civilization.

Yeah well, I'd think that would usually only happen if someone reports you as "missing" to the police. It depends on whether or not you have any relatives or close contacts who might do that. On the other hand there are those cases of some (usually old) people who died alone in their apartment and their body is eventually found after 3 years or something, and people are like, "how horrible that no one cared to check on them in all those years."
Myself I'll more likely be the latter case, probably no one will notice for years when I'm gone, and that's fine.
