As the title alludes, I don't have a scale to weigh my SN so I will have to eyeball my dosage, the approximate density of sodium nitrite 2.17 g/cm³, and based on that number, 20 gms of tablespoons should be roughly 4-5 teaspoons or 1.5-2 tablespoons.

Is this approach alright?

2.17 g/cm³ means that 1 cubic centimeter of sodium nitrite has a mass of 2.17 grams.

A standard teaspoon holds approximately 5 milliliters (mL) or 5 cubic centimeters (cm³).

well we know 1 cubic centimeter of sodium nitrite has a mass of 2.17 grams.

so 5 cubic centimeters or 1 teaspoon would have 2.17*5 = 10.85 grams

A tablespoon holds approximately 15 cubic centimeters (cm³), as 1 milliliter (mL) is equal to 1 cm³.

or 1 tablespoon would have 32.55 grams of sodium nitrite 2.17*15

25 /2.17 = 11.52

11.52 / 5

You would need about 2.3 teaspoons of sodium nitrite to have 25 grams.

Not sure the quantity you bought, but I bought a 50g package. so I'll divide it roughly into 2 equal parts for my 2 drinks. I doubt it needs to be super accurate
