• Hey Guest,

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I can feel this body in revolt

I collect a lot of plushies, figurines, toys and other collectibles. They have great emotional value to me. It may sound odd, silly or childish, but they are my friends, I care about them a lot.
That being said it may come as a suprise for you that I want them to be sold after I die.
I don't want them to be thrown away or given away for free to "charity" which will end up with them getting thrown away anyway or being given to some ungrateful brat who breaks them after less than a week of use. I've seen that happen already when I was coerced into giving away most of my collection growing up and I saw how poorly it was treated by my cousin who broke most of them almost immediately.
I want my collectibles to be sold so that other collectors like me will cherish, love and take care of them. I want them to go to someone who will actually value them just as much as I do and charging money for them is a way to ensure that.
However, I'm not sure how I'd accomplish this.
I'm not going to sell them while I am still alive due to emotional reasons, in case I fail my attempt and because it would be a massive red flag to my parents that I am about to CTB.
So I have to let them know this is what I want in a note.
I know it's kind of a lot to ask for of the parents who are grieving the loss of their only child, but this is the most important thing to me. Idc what happens to my money, I mostly don't care about my corpse, but I do care about my little precious friends very very much.
I don't think there is any way I can legally enforce my family to do this, I am in Poland so I doubt anyone here can give me legal advice on this.
I guess I'll just have to write a polite request and hope they comply even without the legal pressure?
I even thought of making listings of all my items on vinted and keeping them hidden in "vacation mode" and then I'd notify my parents of this in a note along with the login info. This would greatly reduce the work it takes to sell my collection, but there is a risk that adding so many items this quickly might get my account banned or suspended :/
Plus it would likely take weeks for me to do this and I'm not sure if I can handle staying around this long.
What do you think? Do you have any advice?
