Locations for N in Mexico – Clarification Required

Although difficult to source now, historically in Mexico, N can be found in multiple locations (as per PPH)
- A few locations are clear based off the name - Playa del carmen, Tijuana, Valladolid
- Some locations require clarification - Juarez, Mazatlán, Nogales, Nuevo Laredo

Juárez
- There's three Juárez areas that need clarifying
(1) Ciudad Juárez in the state of Chihuahua (El Paso)
(2) Juárez in Mexico City
(3) Juárez in Nuevo Leon
- I suspect the correct location is (1) CIUDAD Juárez in the state of Chihuahua – can anyone confirm this?

Mazatlán
- There's three Mazatlán areas that need clarifying
(1) Mazatlán in Sinaloa,
(2) Mazatlán in Guerrero,
(3) Mazatlán Villa de Flores in Oaxaca
- I suspect the correct location is (1) Mazatlán in SINALOA – can anyone confirm this?

Nogales
- There's five Nogales areas that need clarifying
(1) Nogales Sonora
(2) Nogales in Veracruz
(3) Nogales street in Jacarandas, Mazatlan, Sinaloa
(4) Nogales street in Jaripillo, Mazatlan, Sinaloa
(5) Nogales in Nuevo Leon
- (3) and (4) refer to Mazatlan an area I already mentioned above – can anyone confirm the location of Nogales street in Jacarandas and Nogales street in Jaripillo – both in Mazatlan?
- (5) Nuevo Leon is another area mentioned above associated with Juárez – is Juárez or Nogales in Nuevo Leon a confirmed location?
- (1) I suspect Nogales in SONORA is the correct location – can anyone confirm this?

Nuevo Laredo
- There's six Nuevo Laredo areas that need clarifying
(1) Nuevo Laredo in Tamaulipas
(2a) Nuevo Laredo in Ecatepec de Morelos, State of Mexico and (2b) Nuevo Laredo in Chicoloapan de Juárez, State of Mexico
(3) Nuevo Laredo in Veracruz
(4) Nuevo Laredo in San Nicolas de los Garza, Nuevo Leon
(5) Nuevo Laredo in Colonia Benito Juárez, Puebla
(6) Nuevo Laredo in Chis.
- (2a) and (2b) are two areas in State of Mexico – any confirmation on these areas?
- (4) refer to Nuevo Leon which is mentioned above in Nogales (5) – can anyone confirm that Nuevo Laredo in San Nicolas de los Garza, Nuevo Leon, and Nogales in Nuevo Leon are valid locations?
- I have no idea which Neuvo Laredo is the valid confirmation – anyone have any leads?

I haven't seen the current version of the PPH. But my impression is N is very difficult to get in Mexico if not impossible. Most recently, I've seen Peru as the one place you might still be able to get it. And even then you have to go down to the end of a long street, in a small town, preferably with a guide, speaking Spanish, and hope.

Agreed that N is very difficult to get in Mexico.
However it seems that N is becomingly increasingly difficult to get in Peru - as per recent reports here on SS, mentioning that some of the well-known places are not as readily supplying to foreigners, or more places asking for a prescription before supplyiing, or prices increasingly significantly to the point of being financially prohibitory for some people.
That said, it does seem Peru may be a more successful option.

In the event that Peru is a dead-end, Mexico could still be an option.
Mexico has historically supplied N, and there have been successful cases reported in 2023 in PPH
Even if they don't readily supply to foreigners, N is used as a veterinary anesthetic, so there will surely be stocks of it available at vet shops.
In the right circumstances, and the right location, and good deal of luck, I suspect it may still be possible to purchase.
This may be naive optimism, but that's really all we have to keep going, hope.

Can't find it right now but FYI PPH 2025 was linked not too long ago by an admin in this forum.

Mexico, Peru and Bolivia were reported as sources, with some specific updated details about where/how to get N.

yes it starts on pg 53 for anyone interested.
2025 edition has very similar info to 2022 edition posted a while ago.
I've seen that a few members on this forum this past year have had success at some of the sources mentioned in PPH.

The reason for this thread is because there is a gap in information about Mexico sources over the past two years.
I hope that we can collaborate together and validate some of the possible locations in Mexico.
