Venting "Life sucks and then you die" cool, can I CTB then?

IDK if anyone else has heard of this phrase before but I have and it's starting to pmo. Of course if I were to actually respond to that statement like that it'll turn into "no don't kill yourself" but actively saying and acknowledging that life sucks then proceeding to be anti-suicide is just cruel imo. I honestly think i'd rather hear the "Life gets better" spheal over this but what do you think. All I know is that I'm tired of having the prospect of death dangling over me like how you would keys to a baby, "oh you want to die?, well too bad" ugh

Yeah I agree this saying sucks lol. Idk life is what you make it tied with the cards you are dealt. There are good and bad things, I'd rather appreciate the good things & then the bad things get added to my list of reasons. It's all how you feel about it at the end of the day. But if people feel this way, they shouldn't be so not understanding about people wanting to ctb

I've never heard someone who wasn't suicidal say that. However, I've heard the "death and taxes" thing a handful of times and I can't imagine why someone would say that and then insist that life is a gift.

everyone always tells me to "find the little moments that bring you joy" I haven't felt joy in fucking months. I've been miserable almost my entire life. This is something I've brought up to people and no one has a real answer other than shitty platitudes. Why do I have to keep suffering in this life? Why should I care how OTHER people will take it? What about me and my suffering?
