People hype this shit up like it's a Disney movie and everybody wins in the end but instead we all lose everything in the end. People tell themselves they are "learning and growing" or that their on their way to some stupid goal but in reality we are on a planet where feeling organisms eat other feeling organisms. I just don't understand what about this life is makes people want to pass it on? This shit is disgusting. Humans are disgusting. The fact that only 1 of 10 lion cubs make it to adulthood is disgusting. This life is not a gift when half of the world is living in shit. I just can't believe people are delusional enough to think this is fun. Just chasing money everyday. I want out so bad.
& before somebody brings up god. There isn't one. The only place god exists is in the minds of morons and the book it originated from. We are a product of evolution and that is all. We are lizards on two feet with giant egos. Disgusting.

Life is the most horrible disgusting pointless garbage ever
It's actually atrocious beyond comprehension
I cannot wait until this shit ends

Funeralcry perfectly describes life as an abomination and that there is no limit to how much suffering and stony one can feel and she is correct

It really is so disgusting. I see life itself as nothing more than a virus that causes endless harm and suffering, what really disgusts me is how humans so harmfully choose to procreate even know there is never a need for existence with nobody being able to suffer from never existing at all. The amount of suffering in this hellish reality is simply beyond comprehension, it's so tragic how life even exists, why does life have to exist when the absence of everything is perfection.

The most disgusting fact is how we all got here by sex (which is something gross lol)
@FitsTime Lol why is it funny? How do you not see sex as disgusting? I view it as something dirty. Maybe I was a Puritan in my past life or something šŸ¤”

I mean it is not disgusting. I'm just against all the things that don't make sense, like extremely random sex. Vagina, in men's mind can also be something comforting(remembers them of their mother), but with all these social problems, even vagina can hide dark truths...
Anyway i respect your opinion... But one of our main goals as humans is reproduction.

Hinduism says that there are 4 major problems/sufferings in life.
1. Birth
2. Diseases
3. Old Age
4. Death
Suffering is inherent in this cycle, as each life presents its own challenges and trials. The soul (atman) undergoes a cycle of birth, death, and rebirth until it achieves liberation. The material world, or Matrix (Maya), is illusory and transient. Suffering is often attributed to attachment to worldly desires and the mistaken belief that material possessions bring lasting happiness. By transcending Maya through spiritual practices such as meditation and devotion, one can attain liberation (moksha) from suffering.

Uhhhh... can you expand on that?
I saw many women marrying with vicious deeds in their mind, they fake love, they destroy men. Isn't that a dark thing?
Especially in my country, they are overprotected by laws and always play this game.
You cannot just have fun or be friend or share a passion with a woman here...

Yes :pfff: i wanted it to sound symbolic. But hey, maybe it is just me, i knew only little simple moments of joy in my life and maybe now i want to relax and search for something different, from all this 'merry for money and/or status' and 'show how beautiful my bf/gf are on Facebook' stuff... i like simple, clean and entertaining stuff, not social scum.

Some suffering are because of attachment, true. But someone suffering from hot climate and needing water..how would you describe it ? That's a bodily need , right? How would you transcend that need ? Are you saying by meditation and devotion you would get some magical powers of overcoming thirst , hunger etc? Because that's what a lot of people are suffering from.

To answer your question, Buddhism and Hinduism say that through meditation and and devotion you can attain liberation from the cycle of birth and death. That means will no longer have to take birth and suffer. You will become ONE with the universe (you will get liberated). If you don't take birth you will not have to suffer due to anything, no heat, no cold, no hunger, no disease, no old age, no finances, no attachments.

If you are alive you will have to suffer. I don't have deep understanding of the religion, but there are MANY saints and sages who meditate for decades in the freezing temperatures of Himalayas with very little food, no shelter and very little clothing.
Obviously we common people can't do the same level of meditation, it would be impossible for us to survive.
Because that's what a lot of people are suffering from.
I think this answers your question, right?

No , it still doesn't. What you are suggesting can also be achieved via antinatalism as well instead of meditation. My question was how to free oneself from suffering in this birth , when you are already here. The breaking of cycle (if it were true) will impact the next cycle. If I get access to painless exit , I get to control my suffering. Even if I come to this world a thousand times (considering such a cycle exists) , I can exit whenever my pain reaches a threshold. I don't have to subject myself to harsh conditions of Himalayan temperatures , no food , no shelter etc to resist suffering.

I do understand what Buddhism says. To embrace suffering is a way to get rid of suffering. Both Hinduism and Buddhism are based on karma. You are essentially getting back what you have given. I abide by these teachings. But I never understood what started this cycle? Do you have any idea on that

What I wonder : wtf did we design all these cute toys for, if they just made life more miserable for us? All this technology and AI and trash, just to make us slaves?

We have all this shit and humanity fucks it up. And doubles down and makes it worse every day.

Fuck this species. I want out

What drives me crazy... all of these supposed "MEN" and tough guys accept it and don't do shit about it. They just sit and watch.

It proves humanity is not meant for this and is a shitty race.

I hope this shithole is nuked asap.

All of this money and "CTB prevention". They are nothing more that shitty psych drugs and cute slogans. What are they doing to really prevent CTB but torturing people? Nothing. Just people collecting a paycheck.

No you can't achieve this via anti-natalism. Even if all humans collectively agreed not to reproduce, you can't stop animals and plants and other life forms to stop reproducing. My religion says that you can take re-birth as any life form. If not human then maybe a salmon fish. and it is literally impossible to stop every human on planet to collectively stop from reproducing. Its a BullSh idea.
Lets assume u manage to stop every life form on earth to reproduce. Hinduism says that there is a never ending multiverse, filled with infinite universes. Each universe filled with quadrillion different life forms. So if u stop every life form on earth to reproduce, you will simply get reborn on another planet far away from earth.
My question was how to free oneself from suffering in this birth , when you are already here.
Again I will repeat myself. IF YOU ARE BORN IN THIS MATERIALISTIC MATRIX, YOU WILL HAVE TO SUFFER. Being born is a suffering itself.
The breaking of cycle (if it were true) will impact the next cycle.
If the cycle of "your" birth and death breaks that means u have attained liberation (moksha). Now are one with the universe. Just like pouring one glass of water into the Pacific ocean. It won't impact anything. Your consciousness will simply become one with that of the universe. IT WON'T AFFECT / IMPACT ANY OTHER OR NEXT CYCLE.
If I get access to painless exit , I get to control my suffering. Even if I come to this world a thousand times (considering such a cycle exists) , I can exit whenever my pain reaches a threshold.
So u will have to repeat this infinite times. You will keep deteriorating in the materialistic realm forever within the cycle of life and death. It the worst situation you can get yourself into.
I don't have to subject myself to harsh conditions of Himalayan temperatures , no food , no shelter etc to resist suffering.
Every time you get birth YOU WILL BE SUBJECTED TO HARSH CONDITIONS. I wish not, but what if you got birth as a lab rat in some research lab!! Or were born as an insect in China. Or as a human in a war zone. You will have to face harsh environments.
For liberation its not necessary that you have to meditate in harsh environments. There multiple methods by which you can attain liberation. The sages and saints in Himalayas chose the harsh method by their choice.
But I never understood what started this cycle? Do you have any idea on that
That's a really great question. I know the fundamental idea behind the actual answer of this question. I haven't read enough books and scriptures to answer this question properly. I have very limited knowledge about it.

Thanks. Yes , we can't stop other life forms from reproducing. But other life forms don't rely on the concept of meditation and moksha etc. If we do a thought experiment and let's say humans collectively stop reproducing , then how will this cycle operate? Plants are not going to meditate to get themselves out of the cycle, right ? I am aware that one can get moksha only in human birth. Does this mean, the cycle would stop if humans vanish ? How was this cycle operating before humans existed ?

Do all other living beings in all other multiverse follow the same concept of cycle of rebirths , moksha being the liberation point?

Many options in this case. The one i can think of are:
Humans have very high intelligence and that is why only the human body has the ability to practice meditation, devotion, etc.
It is not necessary that after death u will be born on "Earth" again. Your next birth could be on another planet, another dimension or another universe. So if intelligent life ends on earth, there are still infinite other options available.

The whole multiverse is the "materialistic realm" which is itself in a constant cycle of birth and death. All the infinite entities in this realm have to go through this cycle.
