The first google result I get when I googled propranolol overdose says "An overdose of propranolol can slow down your heart rate and make it difficult to breathe. It can also cause dizziness and trembling."

Interesting. Do you lose consciousness due to low blood pressure or shallow breathing or is it something else?
Both, it works on the CNS, too… it completely depresses cardiac and respiratory function. The medical articles show that the patient goes from being completely lucid, giving medical history and answering first responder's questions, to being completely out within minutes. It's very difficult to bring a person back from this kind of OD as well. Keep in mind, the same holds true for this method. You must ingest enough, and not receive medical intervention.

Here is an article on a propranolol overdose in which the patient didn't ingest enough, and they were found and taken for help, the OD still escalated very quickly. This is just to briefly explain what propranolol can do, and how quickly it can do it:

This is an article in which a physician took a massive propranolol OD and succeeded:

There are many more articles regarding propranolol overdoses, most being fatal.

Try propranolol fatal overdose. OD doesn't mean death occurred. An OD is considered consuming any more than the prescribed amount of medication. I always include "fatal" in my searches.

yeah that's what I was thinking. It can be unpleasant if you don't take enough.
Yes, same with any poisonous method, really. We've all read threads when people aren't able to consume enough SN, the OD side effects are quite nasty.

Unfortunately, we don't have an exact amount of propranolol to take at the moment. Not like we do with other methods in the PPeH. However, propranolol is a medication used in other methods, and it's apparent it's quite deadly on its own.

Oh em you were with her. You are kind and it really sounds like a peaceful method. Also you can consume alcohol with it I think to make it more lethal either way it sounds so peaceful. It happened over 5 mins that's really lucky.
May you rest in peace amor.

Amor wanted everyone to know about this method and how successful it is. I can give a little more information on it, aside from the pills listed, they fasted for almost 24 hours.

I copied and pasted their messages and the time they were sent:

10:02pm- messaged "Uuuuuh the taste. It did mask it a little though it tastes like bitter juice but definitely bearable"
10:04pm- messaged "Just had a sip of water to clear my mouth"
10:05pm- messaged "No feeling of nausea or like I'm going to vomit yet?"
10:06pm- messaged "I feel sleepy now, a little dazed"
10:07pm- messaged "I feel so disassociated In a dream, very sleepy now" and "I feel kind of hot inside likebwhen I'm very nervous"

That was the last message I received. It all happened very quickly, and was extremely peaceful. No mention of any pain nor nausea.

It was important to Amor that their experience be known, to offer another method that would normally be shot down because it's an overdose. It is true that most ODs don't end well, but like anything, if enough research is done, it can be accomplished. Propranolol is a beta 2 blocker, which slows down both cardiac and respiratory functions until they completely stop. Unlike with SN, where the heart feels like it's pumping so hard leading to a heart attack, propranolol induces cardiac arrest.

Thank you for all you've done for the SaSu community. Rest forever in Peace, Amor ♡

Thank you for staying with them during that time. I just...I just think this is such an important and touching gesture. Amor deserved companionship and I feel some relief that they were able to get that in their last moments. Thank you for sharing their experience with us.

How are you doing in the aftermath of that today? I'm here if you would like somewhere to put that down.

Awww, thank you so much for the kind words. I agree, no one should be alone during that time if they don't want to be.

We bonded quickly, because of our method choice, it's not a popular one.

I'm glad I was able to be there for them, they had just lost their friend, and they were supposed to do it together. I was actually kind of touched they asked me to spend those moments with them. They really wanted everyone to know what was experienced, to gain knowledge on this method, and as they kept saying they were glad to give me hope, since it's my method, too.

I'm ok, still sad. It still seems surreal to me that it happened so quickly. I had only known them for a little over a day, yet I miss them.

I hope Amor has found everlasting peace ♡

I think the correct spelling is propranolol (search using it for better results)

It is strange that this method is so unpopular, only a few minutes before the blackout of consciousness. I tried it on myself, 1 tablet was enough for me to start to fall asleep strongly, it is clearly stronger than sleeping pills. I also know at least 3 people who used amitriptyline for ctb, all of them quickly lost consciousness, but survived due to a small dose and without consequences for the body

You can get your blood pressure high by taking clenbuterol or some weight loss supplement like Lipo6x. However, probably clenbuterol will be more difficult to buy than propranolol. I take clenbuterol sometimes in courses to lose weight and so that my body would be perfectly athletic with flat abs)))
This medicine greatly increases blood pressure. This is pure chemical panic on adrenaline - but of course I'm used to it and I can abstract myself from unpleasant sensations.

Some knows the protocol? Amy + propa? No benzo? Alcohol?

My cocktail have:

2g domperidone
2g cimetidine
10g amy
300mg diazepam
450mg midazolam

I don't like the idea of alcohol

It was first 50mg of metoclopramide 45 or so minutes before the OP drank the drink. No alcohol afaik because it'd make the meto useless.

How likely are you to be prescribed it from a psych? I'm on SSRIs rn but they don't really work on me. Is a psychiatrist likely to prescribe ami as a next step?

Insane. Ami alone can be used for pacific ctb. Falls asleep so fast that makes me think that might not be possible to take all cocktail.

Yes, ami alone can be used but propranolol is there to help. It essentially slows down the heart rate back to normal so thats why its used in the SN regimen for some people but in high enough dosages its capable of inducing cardiac arrest. It is possible to take all the cocktail, in my opinion. With the AE you won't feel much nausea and it doesn't taste as bad as the SN drink. As the OP said, it just tasted like bitter juice, I'm sure most people can handle such a thing.

IMO, the taste of ami is not bad, it is weird and quickly absorbed by the mucous, which makes the taste stay in the mouth.

I in doubt about propranolol in the ami protocol. Some people said that pph didn't recommed use of propranolol for SN because the risk of severe arrhythmia. In the case of ami, it seems to be highly recommended.

Anyway, one of the greatest advantages of ami is its versatility. Alone he does the work. With a little alcohol, the knockout is faster, and with the use of benzos and antiemetics to induce a quick and deep coma, it also seems correct to me.

Due to the simplicity and effectiveness of ami, I can't say if I would change my protocol.

Sry about my english
