I totally agree. We almost always use words as a weapon to manipulate and brainwash people, either with praise or disapproval. For example, one term that I personally find quite jarring is "lazy", as I see no reason to label anyone as such other than to guilt-trip them into doing something that is not worthwhile for them, but will benefit others.
