• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Hey all, I'm a fairly new user, so I'm sorry that I've been posting a lot but I plan to CTB soon. I got the rope today after hearing the comments on my last post, and sure enough, no questions.

However, the lady did say, "Are you going mountain climbing or something? (-:" as I bought a fairly large carabiner as well in case I needed it.
This made me feel a bit sad as she is helping me towards my death.

I am planning to hang myself from my wardrobe rod mounted in my closet. It's made out of solid wood, and I was able to do a few pullups on it even with the weight of my fairly stuffed clothing in there...so how do I make sure it holds onto the rod and doesn't come loose?

I've read through a lot of the How To Hang Yourself thread but it's filled with a lot of conversation and not much information.

A simple slip knot will anchor a rope to the rod. You can look up on line how to tie a slip knot if you don't know how. You may need to practice tying the knot but it is actually very easy to do. Here is a link for one https://www.101knots.com/slip-knot.html
