Yeah, for a couple of minutes there was a doubt about the method. but a partial hanging did not work again(32 times... more 10+ hours tested lol) and I was convinced that this was my only way out. gl :)

Why does the majority reject this method? if there is no possibility (fails) to hang oneself (or even partially), then why not?
I ask about the advice, I plan to first start with the hands (wrists), if it does not work out - well, there is a neck ...
the only negative, no bath ...
Well, as an option, take a little alcohol, no medicine (they can slow down the heart and you will survive)
S\N and other method need little money xX its not for me... i specially brought to the point of no return :)
Yes, not everything is as bad as it could be .. but we all know that a bad state will come back and you will regret it ...
Takes a while, SI, obvious if you are found, and very painful. You are forced to sit there for x amount of time dying. I would not ever cut my arm up I'm in enough pain as it is.
yes its possible

you can also set yourself on fire and CTB with a conventional lighter or Zippo and burning yourself
Ouch...

This reminds me of some movie where they see something and start killing themselves. The mental health patients though thought whatever it was was beautiful and everyone had to see. Not sure what movie this was though...

Anyway some lady sit in a car on fire, and then it explodes. Interesting watch if we can ever find the name of it lol

Yes, I agree. The method is not particularly. well, it is necessary to have a blade ... a knife goes badly damaged tendon, but little blood flows (even in water) (well, though painful, but I'm tolerable. desire to call to something there ...).
typing with one hand is funny by the way

Sounds kinda like The Andromeda Strain, at least the book.

Anyway, anyone have thoughts about a scalpel to the carotid? You can buy them cheap and easy and I feel that artery chugging away seemingly right under the skin. It seems like a pretty small cut or even a stab could be all she wrote.

Well, you can my topic is quite suitable as the advice "do not need to." xX feel that the tendons are broken is unpleasant .
thus, the neck is delayed (misses are more than obvious, since even on the arm they are easy to make). more than sure that it is necessary to complete the idea hanging...

anyway its bad idea. let's say, until you try it - you will not understand what it is to miss, although it is easily felt.

Even if you do cut deep enough you could clot before you bleed out enough to cause death. I've heard of people using blood thinners and they still weren't able to bleed out enough successfully. But it sounds like you've made your mind up on this method, so good luck. Maybe you'll be one of the ones who were successful.

It's messy and takes a lot of pain tolerance to cut through everything covering the arteries.

A better option would be to get a butterfly needle or another decently sized one and push it in wherever. Then just allow yourself to bleed out..

I agree with @21Neberg 100%. Do you really want to torture yourself to death? It'd most likely hurt so intensely that you might save yourself during the hours it'd take to drain your body.
You wouldn't be found in that time?

How are you man @SomebodyBroken

I read the news today of a dJ who cut his arm with a glass door by accident, trying to help a friend that had fallen outside. He died.
Some people just happens without even trying.

Late to reply but glad you decided against this method. I have large scars on my wrists (including permanent nerve damage) from failing this way. It is quite painful and awkward to have people staring at the scars or worse ask "did you try to kill yourself?" in public. Getting stitches while lectured by a doctor isn't fun, either.

well, I have scars(4-5 years), but most people do not care for them and no one has never even asked ... even though they know that I always answer the question ...
difference of mentality of our countries, maybe?

Entirely possible. I was shocked when a store cashier pointed it out a few years ago, adding he thought it was disgusting. Another time a cashier smiled and acted as if we were friends and showed me her scars. Really bizarre. My concern for anyone seeing the scars is an intervention. Happened back when I was a teenager - a classmate saw the cuts, told the counselor and I was put in a psych unit involuntarily (for the second time).

I figure it is best if someone still intends to CTB to hide such things so they don't get interrupted by a concerned person.

I guess I should consider myself lucky for only having scars as opposed to permanent damage. I remember the doctor telling me I might have it when I was given stitches, but luckily that wasn't the case. I know how you feel in regards to people staring, that's why I only wear long sleeves.

Death is so fucking fast and easy for those who don't want to die. It's the opposite for us. Nature is unbalanced asf.

yea... last week 2 man die with fun circumstances. one girl fell from 5 !!!!! floor and die. one man just walking down the street, he was hailed(addicts) and beaten to a state of clinical death. a couple of hours later he died in the hospital.
Why precisely they suffered from random circumstances?

if you try it, basically its just for attention cause the rates of death are lower than 5%. Thats like 8 times less probable than dying of an overdose of something other than N, and od is a pretty unreliable method. And yes, even with a bathtub full of hot water and vertical cuts. I managed to saw so deeply into my arms, all the way from wrists to elbows that I needed 14 stitches per arm. There were whole puddles of blood. I didnt die, I didnt even go into shock.
You have to either hit a major artery like femoral or carotid or go really, really deep. Like extremely deep. Most people arent capable of that. And then if you somehow survive and are not a vegetable you can never regain feeling in your arms again because you sliced all the tendons and nerves in half, I sliced a tendon and its such a pain I promise you

I was thinking of this recently... people die all the die we try and cannot get right, I almost passed out last time from partial hanging and my cat scratched and meowed at my door and took me out of trance... it was also raining that day so she wouldnt go outside and food bowl was in my room... sometimes i wonder if a greater power is mocking me.
