Killing time before I CTB?

Might be overcomplicating this but I only have one shot at this, if I don't do it right when I'm able to, I'm fucked six ways to Sunday

I'm trying to project myself to the day when I'll finally be able to CTB and I realized something extremely dumb, I'll have to much time in my hands and it might raise suspicions if I go to the spot where I'll CTB, lay down and wait there for hours, way past the sun has set
I kinda fear that someone notices and calls the cops on me since it'd definitely be suspicious...

Maybe heading straight to the post office once I arrive at the town where I'll CTB to post the letter with my wishes and everything then going to a motel to take a shower before setting an alarm and taking a long nap is the plan?
The issue is that, iirc, motels have set hours where you can't get in or out...anyone has a suggestion as to what the hell I could do to end up in both of those shitty situations?

I feel like I have no other choice but go for the latter, ask at the reception desk when exactly are we not allowed to leave and plan stuff around that, even though I know that I'll have to wait at the spot for a good while anyway

Doing anything productive shortly before I CTB sounds pointless though lol
As for the last idea, I need to go to a specific town that's far away from anyone I know, let alone any friends I have

I mean the day where I have to CTB as I want to do it at a time of day where no one's around and I can't exactly practice jumping unless I want to crack open my skull lol
