Method Just ordered SN

Just ordered my SN off DSL,

I paid for the expedited shipping aswell and he said 9-12 days is estimated shipping time.

I feel at peace but a little adrenaline punch knowing like an excitement it's weird lol

I still am going to most likely end up CTBing with the hanging method but it doesn't hurt to have an alternative solution if i get scared of hanging.

Any advice on storing this? Where do i keep it so that it doesn't go bad etc.

Im not worried about welfare checks, or anything like that as they can't do anything about me ordering a legal chemical online lol

i'm waiting on mine as well! :) for storage, it's best to keep it in a dry dark place but it's not that important. the most important thing though is that you do not open the packaging the sn is kept in until you ctb, as the more time exposed to air the less effective it becomes. not sure how that works exactly, but that's the general advice.

How did you get it? In my country it's restricted so unless you're a verified business, you can't order them

"Nitrite salt" usually refers to a mix of sodium nitrite and sodium chloride (table salt), this mixture has very little sodium nitrite (only about 6%) in it and is safe for consumption, it's used in meat curing.
Always check the purity to be sure what you are buying (and ideally do an aquarium strip test too when it arrives)

Can you explain the strip test? If were advised not to open before cbt also. How would we test. Or just take a small bit out and re seal?

However if you are buying from a different source, your SN is old or you just don't quite trust DSL enough, you can still open the package and test it. It only takes 1-2g on SN to test. You are introducing moisture when you open it, but as long as you keep it in an airtight container without any extreme heat changes, it should still last you for years.
