I think most people here long for comfort, even if for some it's buried so deep down that they reject it, for various reasons

I do(sorta) I have a boyfriend and friends but they can only do so much when I am with my toxic family the majority of the time. It's also comforting sometimes to say these things here, there's a sense of anonymity but also strangers can still understand

I just hugged my monitor for you and my housemate gave me a rather strange look I guess I now need to explain myself .

I don't get enough hugs in person, I do get hugs from my housemates girlfriend when ever I see her which is nice. I'm a very huggy person and I'm very hug deprived. I used to have a very huggy work colleague and I got a morning "hello" hug and an afternoon "goodbye" hug. I miss her a lot
