Like the title said. Currently waiting for my bus back to la from tj. The trek itself was not bad given the physical issues I have been dealing with. Got down here at around 1030 and walked from the border to the pet store where I was instructed to go.
Almost everything was surprisingly easy. Took about 30 to 40 minutes to walk to the pet store. I don't speak a lick of spanish so all I did was send a picture of the bottle I got from the post Ladyapple put up and I was set. Just had to kill 3 hours while he got it. Went to this nice little restaurant that served some delicious seafood and had a couple beers before I went back and picked it up. Took a taxi back who then told me to take a shuttle back to the border since the line was crazy long.
This is where the little hick up came. While i was in line at immigration, I started shitting bricks when I saw that they were scanning bags through the xray machine. Lucky I was able to move the N from my bag into my hoodie pocket without getting caught and made it through. Now I'm just wwiting for my delay bus to scoop me up.
This will be a full day event for those willing to make the trek so plan accordingly. I'll answer as many pms as I can before I'm out and provide the contacts info with his blessing. Cheers ladies and gents.
