Jumping forward or backward?

Which way is best? I like falling back so I can see the sky and then lights out. But I also want to see when I land.

I think jumping from has higher chance as you need to hit the ground with head. If land on the back, there are chance of surviving.

I don't know, I think if you fall on your back, your head will have nothing to stop it from hitting the ground. The back of your head is particularly vulnerable as your neck joints and spine connect there.
