oh - i'm not sure why i read saskatoon. my apologies, lol.

i don't believe calgary has anything that would satisfy you. i know that lethbridge has the lethbridge viaduct which would be far taller than anything in calgary. it may or may not have some suicide prevention things in place but it didn't when i went through.

I did not realize that Calgary is as flat as it appears to be online. From doing some online searching, I didn't come across any options I see as having an overwhelming chance of success, but from what I have found online, the following seem the most promising:

  • The Centre Street Bridge
  • Glacier Skywalk (Would need transportation as it's not in Calgary, but located close by)
  • Broken City Rooftop Bar (based on pictures it seems high)
  • King Eddy (restaurant rooftop deck)
I've never been to Calgary, or any of the places, so I can only attest based on online pictures.

Saskatoon isn't TOO far from there, it's driving distance anyways.

You are not far from the mountains…what about a canyon, rocky cliff, etc. I'm sure there are lots, you'd just have to know where to go I suppose.

I believe you can find information about height necessary to not permanently cripple yourself somewhere here. Once you make more posts you'll get access to the search function.

Looks like the bridge in Lethbridge is accessible, unless things have changed:

I would be careful about mountains because they're rarely a straight drop down. It's easy to have your fall broken partway through and be in agony without dying.

Only in the summer--Winters gets down to 30 degrees to 40 degrees below zero, insanely cold--But places like Banff, Lake Louise, Moraine Lake are stunning places in the summer
