It's the final countdown!

Things are falling into place. I think I have everything ready to go. Letters are written. I'm going the partial hanging route. Never thought I would honestly. All my attempts in the past involved drugs and/or alcohol. But I'm realizing that's why none of those attempts ever worked. I feel almost euphoric right now. I've never felt this before. I really really hope this all works out. The pain I go through every day is too much. Wish me luck!

Edit: just realized I should probably shower and wash/brush my hair. Haven't done that in a few days. I hope it doesn't take too long for my body to be discovered. I don't live alone, but they could probably go a day or 2 without seeing me and not get worried. I should probably do a scheduled text message like a couple hours after I do it so that they know to get me.

So it sounds like this is in large part a suicide due to poverty. In other words, if you had enough money, you might not do this.

I just think for everyone demonizing this forum and saying "there's help available, call 988" etc, it's good to realize that chronic poverty is a bigger cause of suicide than things like this forum. And for suicidologists, this isn't the only case like this here, it's frequent. Frequently people who are close to homelessness ctb. If these so-called christians really believe in their religion, why do they let things like this happen? would it really be so difficult for society to provide a small room to this person somewhere so they don't have to sleep outdoors? yet christians are the ones who most vehemently vote conservative and against housing for the poor.
