It matters a lot. It matters to you. Will you be someone who spends more or less time on the planet. That's as important as the existence of any other person

Whether you want to keep going on the planet or not is certainly not for me to weigh in on. But I know you are importsnt!

I'm not pulling another soul onto this hell plane either. So, it does matter. You're saving someone from this hellscape. I don't know if you wanted children or not. I did at one time. However, I feel that not having them is doing the right thing.

Fortunately reproducing is not the meaning of life, though I get the sentiment.

If you are not able to produce anything at all, then I say it is worthy to consider taking your own life, but producing another human definitely should not ever be somebody's end goal. Look what happened to all of us, after all.

Glad I didn't have kids. Decided at a young age I would not be a mother unless certain conditions were met, and they weren't. Even if I had kids who led good lives, who's to say that the faulty genes I inherited wouldn't be passed down to future generations.
I wouldn't wish that cruel fate on anyone!

Depends if you have people around you. They tend to react differently towards suicide as they might natural death. So, if the argument is- it won't make a difference when I die, I'm not so sure.
