Partial update for anyone curious
I tried to ctb, and failed.
I was found before I could successfully ctb, and while I'm in pain as of now, it will not cause permanent damage or anything. I was confident it wouldn't fail, but here I am now. I might not be able to update for a while after this (not too long). Thank you for the support on the last post before I tried, im sure next time will work.
